| New Features in
Message Classification V2.7
In addition to Outlook 2007 support, the new version of
Message Classification provides new checks and warnings to
increase user awareness and enforce security policy at the
desktop.
Now you can:
- Use Message Classification with Outlook 2007. The
new Microsoft Outlook ribbon interface is now supported for
selecting classifications/labels.
- Interoperate with multibyte messages. Message
Classification is now interoperable with multibyte
characters in the subject line and message body.
- Stop users from sending sensitive email to
inappropriate recipients outside the enterprise.
Message Classification Enterprise Edition now supports Safe
Recipient Lists for external users. Administrators can
define a list of trusted email domains to which sensitive
email can be sent.
- Warn users before sending sensitive emails. This
warning is fully customizable by the Message Classification
Enterprise Edition administrator.
- Warn users before sending sensitive email to large
distribution lists. Message Classification Enterprise
Edition can check the number of recipients on a sensitive
email and warn the user before the email is sent. The
warning is triggered when the number of recipients exceeds
the number allowed by policy for that particular
classification/label. This helps prevent inadvertent
disclosure of sensitive information to large numbers of
recipients.
