Titus Labs Wins Key European National Military Classification Email Contract

Full classification suite of software purchased by European Ministry of Defence

OTTAWA – April 2, 2008 – Titus Labs, a leading provider of email and document classification software today announced a significant order to deliver Titus Labs Message Classification and Titus Labs Document Classification to a European Ministry of Defence with 15,000 seats. Titus Labs Message Classification Enterprise edition and the Outlook Web Access version will be deployed in May. Titus Labs Document Classification is planned to be rolled out in 2009.

The drivers behind the need for this Message and Document Classification implementation include:

• The ability to consistently classify emails and documents in accordance with Military policy and in Outlook and OWA and Office
  
• The need to meet NATO marking standards both nationally and internationally
  
• To warn users prior to releasing information to the Internet
  
• To drive awareness to the sensitivity of information and drive policy
  
• Desire to deploy a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solution which can be upgraded to take advantage of the growing use of technology in modern Defence forces
  

The specific customer requirements included provision of an email and document classification system scalable to 15,000 users and capable of interfacing with the existing Microsoft Office and Outlook environment. The solution includes compliance with GPMS, and an upgrade path to Microsoft 2007 products.
